The University of Arkansas caught my eye when I saw their high ranking on the U.S News and World Report survey for online graduate programs. The affordable prices offered by the College of Engineering Distance Education program was also a plus.

Going forward, I can say the program has set me up for success. It has already assisted me in promoting to the next rank in my service. I pin on Lieutenant Commander January 2023. More importantly the program has provided me with the tools necessary to influence change. My ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, provide leadership and subject matter expertise on projects and initiatives, and lift the morale of others have all been elevated. These skills will be used to further promote, protect, and advance the health and safety of our nation as an officer in the United States Public Health Service.
